In October 2023, our long-term client Jack began preparing for the New Year’s merchandise. As before, Jack purchased goods from over 20 suppliers, which were sent to Sunny Worldwide Logistics’ warehouse for repackaging. Once everything was consolidated, the shipment was sent out from Shenzhen, China. During this process, I coordinated with each supplier to confirm the product names, quantities, types, and shipping times.

When the goods arrived at the warehouse, I discovered a small pot of asparagus fern—a living plant. Many countries have strict regulations on importing live plants. I immediately communicated with Jack, and unfortunately, the plant had to be planted at our company. On July 15, 2023, I received a sea freight inquiry from a client named John. He wanted to ship 1,000 boxes of children’s educational toys from China to his destination port. I offered John free consolidation services. With 30 warehouses across China, we first transported the 1,000 boxes of toys to our warehouse in Shenzhen, organized the packing lists and invoices from the four suppliers, and handled the domestic customs clearance and inspection procedures before shipping them out by sea from Shenzhen.
